Conestoga Takes Drama on The Road Saturday

Young actors will present an American classic this weekend at the Tredyffrin Public Library.

Editor's Note: The following information was provided to Patch by the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District. Tredyffrin Public Library will present two performances of the one-act play Little Women by the Conestoga High School Drama Club on Saturday, January 26 at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the library, 582 Upper Gulph Road, Strafford. Adapted by Marisha Chamberlain from the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott, Little Women is recommended for everyone 10 years and older. Little Women tells the story of the four young March sisters as they struggle to keep their family going while their father is away fighting in the Civil War. Through hardships, illness, and sibling rivalry, each sister finds her true self.  Tickets for Little Women are $3 and …

'Van Gogh Up Close' at Tredyffrin Library

A one-night program will take you inside the tortured mind of the legendary artist.

The story of Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh is literally the stuff or art world legend. Van Gogh may be as famous for having lost his left ear to a razor sharp blade as he is for his artwork. Stories over the years have conflicted over exactly how Van Gogh's ear was severed. No matter how or why his ear was cut off, Van Gogh's art was strongly influenced by emotion. Now you can learn much more about Van Gogh, his work, and a major exhibition currently featured at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Tredyffrin Public Library presents a visual lecture with Jennifer A. Libraries Delay Sat. Openings for Snow

Tredyffrin, Paoli and Easttown Public Libraries all delay openings until at least noon.

The Tredyffrin and Paoli Public Libraries as well as the Easttown Public Library and Information Center have delayed their Saturday openings until at least 12 noon due to the early morning snowstorm. Postings on the libraries' websites say the opening times will be re-evaluated as noon draws closer. Before heading out to the library check their sites for current conditions.
