Blinding Sun Show In Sky Over Devon

Mother nature puts on a blinding evening rush hour performance over Lancaster Avenue.

It's the time of year once again when cold, clear winter skies and the rotation of the earth can sometimes combine for a blinding westbound evening commute on westbound Lancaster Ave. This was how it looked a few minutes after 5 p.m. Wednesday for drivers heading past the Devon Horse Show grounds on Lancaster Ave./Route 30 in Devon. Wednesday's official sunset was at 5:27:55 according to Unitarium.com. Thursday's sunset will be at 5:29:07 p.m.. As the sunlit hours keep getting longer, the sun will to be right in the eyes of westbound evening commuters for at least a few more weeks. Sunset starts to happen after 6 p.m. on March 9, according to a calendar on timeanddate.com. Are you excited to see days get longer or do you prefer winter …
