A Legendary Music Star is Coming to Wegmans

One of the biggest names in music is coming to the new Wegmans to promote a new book. Here's how to meet her.

Philadelphia's own international music legend Patti LaBelle is coming to the new Wegmans in King of Prussia to promote her new book and you can meet her one-on-one. LaBelle will be autogrpahing copies of her book Recipes for the Good Life this coming Thursday, October 25 from 6-8 p.m. According to a news release from Wegmans: This is a free event, but space is limited. Pick up a voucher at any Wegmans service desk ‘That’s T.H.E. Ticket’ location to reserve your space. Books must be purchased at Wegmans to attend. Patti will sign copies of her cookbook, Recipes for the Good Life, which is on sale now at Wegmans for $17.50, a 30% discount off the list price. Books may be purchased in advance or on the day of the event.

Ms.Patti sure can cook , I had some of her greens at a concert , I believe it was in westbury ny where she performed and they passed out some of her greens potatoe salad and fried chicken it was the bomb, I love her nobody does it like Ms.Labelle i mean nobody .   more ›

Wegmans Opens New Local Store Sunday Morning

It's massive, enticing, and 16 years in the making.

Wegmans began planning for its new store on Swedesford Road just east of Tredyffrin Township 16 years ago. Sunday morning at 7 the doors finally opened to the public at the chain's 80th store. After months of hiring, training and getting the store ready for the big grand opening Manager Kevin Lang tells Patch he expects Sunday to be like a party for shoppers as customers explore the expansive building and employees get to show off what they've been getting ready inside. It's 123,000 square feet of shopping, cafes, catering, local micro brewery beers and yes, more shopping. They even have groceries. Aisles and aisles and aisles of grocery which include locally-grown produce and locally produced items that are hard to find in other places. …
