Share Your Thanksgiving Dinner Photos

Let everyone see just how hard you worked.

Putting together a Thanksgiving feast is no simple feat. Between the shopping and the cooking, there’s barely time left to set the table and make everything just right. If you’ve gone above and beyond with your spread this year, Patch invites you to show off your hard work. Just upload your Thanksgiving dinner photos to the gallery. Be sure to share tell everyone what the special dishes are you served up, too. And, if your dinner table setting and decorations rival something Martha Stewart might whip up, we invite you to show those off, too. To share your photos, just login to your user account and click on the white and green button at the top of this article. Happy holidays.

Thanksgiving Leftovers: What Do You Do With Them?

Share your best recipes for after the Thanksgiving feast.

While many say simple reheating is all that’s necessary to have a “day after” feast, others have elaborate recipes for turning Thanksgiving leftovers into gourmet delights. From savory turkey soups to sinfully delicious pot pies and mile-high sandwiches, everyone has their own ideas on what to do with what’s leftover. The Food Network even has an entire recipe collection dedicated to the topic. Ardmore Patch blogger Adrian Seltzer shared some suggestions last year: chili, stuffing patties, Thanksgiving wraps, curried turkey salad and soup, including a recipe for Hill of Beans Soup. What are your favorite …

Our fall foliage has peaked, but although the leaves may no longer be as pretty, you can still see some great fall foliage pictures that were entered as part of our photo contest. Congratulations to Dick Brant, of Bryn Mawr. He is the winner of Patch’s Fall Foliage Picture of the Week contest. His picture of the rope hanging over the countryside dotted below with fall color was the post popular with our users. Thanks to everyone who submitted your great pictures. We had some great pictures submitted and I’ve included them all in this article so anyone who missed them can take a look. Brant was sent his Patch prize pack in the mail and is hopefully enjoying it.

Side Dish Dilemma? Don't Panic, Just Act Fast

If someone just asked you to bring a side dish to Thanksgiving or you've run out of time to make the meal at your house, don't panic.

Thursday's the big day for eating. That means Wednesday is a big day for food prep stress. Unless you know where to shop for "all the trimmings" that go into  the proverbial "turkey with all the trimmings." Don't panic, head to Paoli. You would have been guaranteed side dishes, desserts, gravy and more if you ordered by last Friday, but the people at HomeCooked know not everyone can anticipate last minute invitations or guests. So they made extra and you can get your hands on it until 2 p.m. Wednesday. HomeCooked owner Claire Phillips Guarino tells Patch there are a lot of Thanksgiving items still available for purchase until the store closes for the entire weekend at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Guarino also has you covered for a weekend of house …

Thanksgiving Recipes: How to Cook Stuffing and Other Favorite Side Dishes

A turkey can't just sit alone on the table. Here are some recipes for Thanksgiving's most popular side dishes.

What would a turkey be on Thanksgiving without its faithful side companions? Often more popular than the turkey itself, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and other favorites are staples of the food coma-inducing meal. Try one of the recipes below to bring a new taste to your Thanksgiving feast. Roasted Winter Squash Gauge the amount of squash you’ll need by allowing 1 small squash (acorn and butternut are good choices) for every four people.
