Services Set for Former 'Stoga PTA President
Funeral services are planned Tuesday morning for a former Conestoga PTA President and Waynesborough CC competitive bridge player.
Joan M. Scott, daughter of the late, Robert and Agnes Macdonald, loving wife of Howard Winfield Scott Jr. Passed away after a brief battle with cancer on June 20th. Joan is survived by her loving husband Howard Jr., her children, Howard W. Scott III (Bucky), Thomas and Ann Tasber and her seven grandchildren. Joan was born in Houghton, MI, and was raised in Sheboygan, WI. She attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, majoring in Journalism. Her tremendous love and talent for music earned her the 1st Chair Violinist at the University where she graduated with honors. She met her husband of nearly 51 years on a blind date.
