Saturday morning's snow hangs on with frigid overnight temps, but it may not be around for long.
The first snowfall of the year dropped about three inches of snow on Tredyffrin and Easttown, but it may not be around much past Monday morning. The National Weather Service (NWS) forecast calls for a slight chance of rain late Sunday afternoon and temperatures hovering around the freezing mark all day Sunday. The real melt will come on Monday when temperatures are forecast to climb into the 50's. The NWS forecast for TE calls for: Sunday: A slight chance of rain after 4pm. Tredyffrin, Paoli and Easttown Public Libraries all delay openings until at least noon.
The Tredyffrin and Paoli Public Libraries as well as the Easttown Public Library and Information Center have delayed their Saturday openings until at least 12 noon due to the early morning snowstorm. Postings on the libraries' websites say the opening times will be re-evaluated as noon draws closer. Before heading out to the library check their sites for current conditions.
