The story of a second prostitution bust in one month at a Devon hotel made headlines when Tredyffrin Police made the announcement. Now details of what happened inside Room 214 are revealed in court documents filed Tuesday. Tredyffrin Police "made contact with" Valerie Andreeva, 27, of Philadelphia and Joel J. Davenport, 43, of Audubon, PA at the hotel on Wednesday, (July 25) at 12:30 a.m.. Police are called to hotel: According to an affidavit of probable cause, someone from the hotel called 9-1-1 to report a suspected who had just checked in to room 214. A woman and man are arrested, accused of prostitution at the Courtyard by Marriott.
For the second time this month, Tredyffrin Township Police have arrested a woman and an alleged accomplice in a prostitution bust at the Courtyard by Marriott in Devon. According to a press release issued by Tredyffrin Police Friday morning, "officers made contact with " Valerie Andreeva,27, of Philadelphia and Joel J. Davenport, 43, of Audubon, PA at the hotel on Wednesday, (July 25) at 12:30 a.m. . According to police, the investigation determined that "Andreeva was transported by Davenport to the local hotel for the express purpose of prostitution. According to police, the whole "appointment" was over in about 20 minutes but the resulting prostitution and drug posession cases could take weeks or even months as they move from the Courtyard Hotel in Tredyffrin Township to a court room in West Chester. On the way suspects Jacquelyn Stahley and Jamaal Lambert made a stop in Devon District Court Wednesday where Judge Thomas Tartaglio ruled there is enough evidence in their cases to hold them over for trial in Common Pleas Court. Two suspects arrested last Friday in a prostitution bust in Devon are due in court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing. According to court documents, Tredyffrin Township police were called to the Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Devon at 4 p.m. last Friday, July 13. According to a police press release "patrol officers working in conjunction with criminal investigators contacted and identified a subject who admitted to using the sexual services of a prostitute after connecting with the actor through the internet." The investigation led police to Jacquelyn Stahley, 24, of Portland Oregon. She was arrested on prostitution-related charges. Police also arrested Jamaal Marquice Lambert, 29, also of Portland Oregon. Tredyffrin Township Police say they have arrested two suspects in connection with a prostitution investigation. According to police, officers were called to the "commercial area" of the 700 block of Lancaster Avenue in Devon at 4 p.m. last Friday, July 13.
