TE Patch readers voted favorites for both.
Superbowl Sunday is one of the biggest days of the year for take-out pizza and chicken wings orders. And if you're planning on ordering for game time or even pre-game you may want to consider ordering early. Several local restaurants and carryout places told Patch they're expected an onslaught, starting when the pre-game shows go on the air in the afternoon. At Pizza Hut/Wing Street in Paoli Friday afternoon staffers recommended calling in early on Superbowl Sunday. It's certainly not a requirement, but they say it just helps with preparation time and speed. TE Patch readers weigh in on the best place to take their Valentine.
Maybe it's the economy, maybe it's the ease of parking, maybe it's because you have kids, or perhaps it's because Valentine's Day fall on a Tuesday but 50 percent of TE Patch readers who took part in our poll say there's no place like home for celebrating Valentine's Day. On Monday TE Patch asked you to tell us the best place in Tredyffrin and Easttown to take your Valentine. 50 percent voted for making dinner at home. Second place was a three-way tie with dinner at Ella's American Bistro in Devon, getting ice cream at Handel's in Berwyn and ordering a pizza each getting 12 percent of the vote. Patch readers shatter poll records to vote for their favorite breakfast place in TE.
This week TE Patch asked you to weigh in your favorite breakfast place in Tredyffrin and Easttown. Wow, did you respond. This week's poll shattered the record for the most votes cast and it was a close race percentage-wise. Appetite's Delight in the Gateway Shopping Center is the winner with 23 percent of the vote. Just in time for a big weekend of NFL playoffs, the results are in from this week's Patch Poll.
We asked TE Patch readers to weigh in the best place for wings in Tredyffrin and Easttown. After five days of voting the results are in. You, our loyal Patch readers, voted Wings to Go the best place for wings, with 32 percent of the vote. Berwyn Tavern came in second with 22 percent of the vote.
