Laser Light Pointer Leads to Arrest for Theft
Tredyffrin Police respond to a call about a laser light pointer and end up arresting a teen suspect for theft.
The following blotter information was provided by the Tredyffrin Police Department. All suspects are considered innocent until proven otherwise through the judicial system. THEFT 12/10/12 at 2334 hours – Home Properties of Devon. Police were dispatched to the report of harassment. The caller stated that unknown actor(s) were shining a laser pointer through windows. When officers questioned a group of people outside, it was discovered that one subject had a vehicle hood emblem hidden in their clothing. It was later determined that it was stolen from a vehicle in the complex. Charges are being filed against Larry Mekic, 19, of Devon PA for the theft of the emblem.
