Home ivasions are extremely rare, but there are things you can do to keep from becoming a victim of far more common crimes.
There have now been two home invasion cases in Tredyffrin Township in the past month. Suspects are now in prison in the first, but the home invaders in the second case are still on the loose. Should the average local resident be worried for their own safety? Home invasion robberies are extremely unusual in Tredyffrin and Easttown. Tredyffrin Police say the two cases that have happened in the past few weeks, a home invasion in the middle of the night in Paoli and Thursday's home invasion robbery in Berwyn were targeted at specific victims. While that comes as no comfort to the victims in the cases, it also does not indicate that there is any kind of emerging crime trend in TE. In the first case, police believe the home invasion was drug-…

One of the company's former branch locations in the Chesterbrook Shopping Center was also robbed several years ago in another smash and grab robbery. Workers at Diane's Sidewalk Deli in Chesterbrook recalled the robbery that happened on a weekday morning.
