The winner of the Patch Deck the House is from Davis, California.

Editor's Note: Throughout the month of December Patch sponsored a contest to find the most decked out house for the holidays. After Patch readers from coast to coast voted the winner is in. The Powell family of Davis, California had the winning entry. Here is the article as it appears on Davis Patch. The Powell family was technically the winner of the Deck the House contest. But since the prize is $100,000 to Davis schools, Kristy Powell doesn't quite see it that way. “We all won,” she said. “There are a lot of needs at the schools. For 364 days out of the year, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) spends its time tracking airplanes, missiles, space ships—anything flying near the United States and Canada. But on Christmas Eve, a team of volunteers spends the night tracking a very special pilot: Santa Claus. Click here for the link to the Santa tracking website.
