Tredyffrin Police are still searching for the cookie monster who robbed fourth grade girls scouts at cookie booth one week ago inside the entrance of the Berwyn Pathmark on Swedesford Road. While the case of a violent home invasion dominated the headlines late last week, the case of the cookie monster who robbed who robbed fourth grade Girl Scouts at their cookie sale table inside the entranceway of the Pathmark on Swedesford Road in Berwyn on the evening of Sunday, January 20 is still an active investigation. As of Friday afternoon a Tredyffrin Police spokesman tells Patch one of the focuses of the investigation is a car that may have been used as the getaway vehicle in the robbery. Search On for Car in Girl Scout Cookie Heist

Tredyffrin Police are now looking for a "car of interest" in connection with strong arm cookie robbery of 4th graders.

Tredyffrin Police detectives are searching for what one source close to the investigation is describing as "a car of interest" in connection with the strong arm robbery of fourth grade girl scouts on Sunday at the Pathmark in Berwyn. Security camera video now has led police to search for a car that may have been used in connection with the crime. A police source tells TE Patch that detectives are looking for a dark blue, two-door Honda Accord, most likely a 2007-2008 year model. If you have any information about the car, police would like to hear from you. You can reach Tredyffrin Police over the weekend by calling 9-1-1. New Information in Girl Scout Cookie Robbery

Tredyffrin Police release brave fourth grade heroes who fought back.

Tredyffrin Police have new information about the man who robbed fourth grade Girl Scouts at their cookie sale table inside the entranceway of the Pathmark on Swedesford Road in Berwyn Sunday night. According to police the man, believed to be in his 20s, got  away with $20 in cookie money and a still undetermined amount from a collection can for veterans. It's not the amount of money, it's the way he got it that elevated a misdemeanor theft to a felony robbery.  Because the man struggle briefly with at least one of the fourth grade girls, the case is classified as a robbery. Man Robs Girl Scout Cookie Booth at Pathmark

Tredyffrin Police are searching for a man they say fled after stealing money from a Girl Scout cookie sale Sunday just before 5 p.m.

Tredyfrin Police are searching for a man who robbed a Girl Scout Cookie sale table inside the front entrance-way of the Pathmark in Berwyn Sunday evening just before 5 p.m. Detectives are looking for a 20 to 30-year-old man described as 5'8"-5'10" tall with a medium build. He was wearing glasses and his face was covered in a scarf. Police say the man was wearing a black sweatshirt and light colored pants. Sources say the scouts who were robbed are fourth graders from a troop attached to New Eagle Elementary School in Tredyffrin Township. None of the girls was injured during a brief tug of war over the money that was taken. It's not clear exactly how many scouts were at the table when the robber struck.
