New Information in Girl Scout Cookie Robbery
Tredyffrin Police release brave fourth grade heroes who fought back.
Tredyffrin Police have new information about the man who robbed fourth grade Girl Scouts at their cookie sale table inside the entranceway of the Pathmark on Swedesford Road in Berwyn Sunday night. According to police the man, believed to be in his 20s, got away with $20 in cookie money and a still undetermined amount from a collection can for veterans. It's not the amount of money, it's the way he got it that elevated a misdemeanor theft to a felony robbery. Because the man struggle briefly with at least one of the fourth grade girls, the case is classified as a robbery. The following press release was issued by Tredyffrin Police Tuesday.
