A motorcyclist involved in a two-vehicle accident that happened Friday night on Route 202 has died. Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police say Liam Crowley, 24, of Chesterbrook died about 7:40 p.m. Sunday at Paoli Hospital. The department "is working closely with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and also the Chester County Coroner’s Office," according to a statement Monday. Additional charges could be filed in the case against the driver of the pickup truck involved in the crash. Police say a 23-year-old woman was killed in a pre-dawn wreck Friday morning.
Willistown Police have identified the driver who died early Friday morning in a single vehicle accident on South Valley Road near the Easttown-Willistown township line. Police have identified the victim in the fatal crash as Margaret Orr, 23, of Malvern. According to a police statement, Orr was traveling northbound on South Valley Road when her 2001 Ford Escort coupe struck a utility pole along the east side of the roadway. The vehicle continued to travel off the road and hit a tree, where it came to a stop. Police are still investigating the events surrounding the accident. South Valley Road was closed as police from Willistown and Easttown investigate a fatal pre-dawn accident Friday.
One person is dead following a single car crash on South Valley Road near the Easttown/Willistown border. According to Willistown Police, a vehicle traveling northbound on the 2300 block of South Valley Road around 4:35 a.m. Friday veered off the road and into a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. There were no other passengers in the vehicle. Easttown Police are investigating a two vehicle crash that involved the death of one of the drivers Friday on Lancaster Avenue/Route 30 in Berwyn. Berwyn Fire Company Assistant Chief Eamon Brazunas tells Patch a car was coming out of Conestoga Collission just before 9:40 a.m. Friday morning when it was hit by a car on Lancaster Avenue. The impact sent the crashing into the building. According to Brazunas, nobody in the repair shop was injured but the unidentified driver was trapped inside the car. The driver was in cardiac arrest when firefighters removed her from the mangled car. Barzunas tells Patch it was not clear with the cardiac arrest was the cause or the result of the crash. A memorial service was held Tuesday morning to remember 25-year-old Meghan McGuire of Berwyn. McGuire was killed early Friday morning when the car she was driving collided with a box truck on Southbound U.S. 202 near the Route 30 exit in West Whiteland Township. A death notice appears on Philly.com for the Conestoga High School graduate, who attended Cabrini College and worked at the Upper Main Line YMCA. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. West Whiteland Police have put out a call for witnesses who might be able to shed light on exactly what happened when McGuire's VW Passat collided with a box truck shortly before 1 a.m. Friday. West Whiteland Township Police have released the name of the 25-year-old Berwyn woman who was killed in an early morning crash Friday on Route 202 in Chester County. Multiple media reports Sunday confirmed the woman's identity as 25-year-old Meghan McGuire of Berwyn. The crash happened shortly before 1 a.m. Friday morning and sent the 55-year-old driver of a box truck involved in the collission to Paoli Hospital. The early morning crash kills one woman and sends another driver to Paoli Hospital.
An early morning crash involving a Volkswagen Passat and an Isuzu box truck killed the 25-year-old woman driving the VW and sent the truck driver to Paoli hospital. Multiple media outlets, including NBC Philadelphia report the accident happened before 1 a.m. Friday and forced police to close southbound Route 202 in West Whiteland Township near the Route 30 exit for ten hours. Action News/6ABC.com had a helicopter over the scene this morning and posted a slide show of the accident scene on the 6ABC.com website.
