Last Chance: Stamp Prices Go Up Sunday

Now's the time to stock up on forever stamps.

  Patch told you about this at the beginning of the month, but here’s your last reminder: stamp prices go up on Sunday. The price to mail a first-class letter up to 1 oz through the U.S. Postal Service will go up a penny from 45 cents to 46 cents. If you’re using a forever stamp, then you are fine before or after the price increase. But, if you’re buying a Forever stamp, it will cost you 45 cents on Saturday and 46 cents on Sunday, so now’s the time to stock up. If you can't get to the post office to buy stamps, many grocery stores also carry them. You usually have to ask the clerk checking you out for the stamps.
