The spotlight was on Linvilla Orchards Wednesday afternoon as a production crew filmed for a new Travel Channel show called Cross Country Christmas. You didn't miss it. They were shooting for a show to air during the 2013 Christmas Season. The show, which will depict the best holiday events and traditions in America, won't air until next December so we have a bit of a wait but word is that there will be a viewer voting component too. Viewers will go online and vote for their favorite holiday event. White Christmas could occur as Santa comes to town.
It might be light, but this Christmas could be white. With a 90 percent chance of precipitation, Dec. 24 and Dec. 25 could see some snowfall this year. The National Weather Service predicts a mix of rain, snow and sleet through 4 a.m. Dec. 25. Temperatures will hover around 33 degrees, allowing some chance of Christmas snow. Even if the rain changes to flurries, little to no snow accumulation is expected in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Visit weather.gov for more info on your local forecast.

Thanks to a very special U.S. Postal Service program, "Santa" will reply to children who mail him their Christmas wish lists this holiday season.
Every year, millions of children sit down to make a wish list for Santa, hoping he will make all of their Christmas dreams come true. But what if Santa actually wrote back? The United States Postal Service is now accepting "Letters From Santa," a program that allows any person to play Santa by sending a letter signed by Saint Nick to any child. According to a postal service news release, "The 'Letters From Santa' program helps parents fulfill the dreams of their own children."
