Multiple Marijuana-Related Cases in TT

Blotter: Tredyffrin Police report three cases in just two days.

The following information was provided by the Tredyffrin Township Police department. Any suspects named in the police blotter reports are considered innocent until proven otherwise through due legal process. POSSESSION – MARIJUANA 1/24/13 at 0830 hours – Lancaster Avenue in Paoli. Police arrested Colby Meyer, 20, of Malvern PA for Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana. POSSESSION – PARAPHERNALIA 1/25/13 at 1415 hours – Route 30 in Paoli. Police arrested Kevin Griffin, 31, of Coatesville for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after he was stopped for a routine traffic violation and was found to have a marijuana pipe in his vehicle. And again. More of our tax money wasted. Just the overtime that the police officers will make on these busts is more than i would like to pay as a taxpayer. TE Police Blotter

Tredyffrin Police Investigate Home Burglaries

Thieves are going for high value, easy to carry items.

The following information was provided by Tredyffrin Township Police:   BURGLARY 1/3/13 at 1451 hours – Kynlyn Road in Wayne. Police responded to a burglary discovered. The victims stated that jewelry items, an iPad and U.S. currency were stolen from the home. A screen was observed to be removed and placed beside a window. Case is being investigated. BURGLARY 1/5/13 at 1647 hours – 400 block of Churchill Drive in Berwyn. The victim reported that their laptop, valued at $2500 was stolen from their residence. The case is currently under investigation.
