A memorial service was held Tuesday morning to remember 25-year-old Meghan McGuire of Berwyn. McGuire was killed early Friday morning when the car she was driving collided with a box truck on Southbound U.S. 202 near the Route 30 exit in West Whiteland Township. A death notice appears on Philly.com for the Conestoga High School graduate, who attended Cabrini College and worked at the Upper Main Line YMCA. The cause of the accident is still under investigation. West Whiteland Police have put out a call for witnesses who might be able to shed light on exactly what happened when McGuire's VW Passat collided with a box truck shortly before 1 a.m. Friday. Remembrances were posted within hours of the 25 year old woman's death in an early morning crash on Friday.
West Whiteland Township Police have released the name of the 25-year-old Berwyn woman who was killed in an early morning crash Friday on Route 202 in Chester County. Multiple media reports Sunday confirmed the woman's identity as 25-year-old Meghan McGuire of Berwyn. The crash happened shortly before 1 a.m. Friday morning and sent the 55-year-old driver of a box truck involved in the collission to Paoli Hospital. Richard Laub III, 55, of Norristown was treated and released. The accident forced a shut down of southbound Route 202 near the Route 30 exit all through the night and Friday morning's rush hour. A report on Philly.com says that a 25 year old woman killed in a crash Friday morning is from Berwyn. The woman's name had not been released Friday pending notification of the woman's family. The crash happened Friday morning around 12:45 a.m. when a Volkswagen Passat and Isuzu box truck collided in the southbound lanes of Route 202 near the Route 30 exit in West Whiteland Township. The truck driver was sent to Paoli Hospital and released. Route 202 was shut down for ten hours. Read more and see photos by clicking here.

Friday afternoon rush hour is brought to a crawl by accident in Devon.
Rush hour and early evening Devon Horse Show traffic was temporarily brought to a crawl by an accident at Waterloo Road and Lancaster Ave./Route 30 Friday afternoon in Devon. The two car crash happened around 3:45 p.m. and brought traffic to a crawl, according to Berwyn Fire Company Photographer Luke Rafferty who tweeted this photo to TE Patch from the scene. An Easttown Police representative tells Patch there were no serious injuries reported. Traffic was slowed just one block from main entrance to the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair Grounds as traffic began arriving for what is often one of the busier evenings of the show's 11 day run.

Two volunteers delivering hot lunches for meals on wheels were in a car that was stuck in the back by a small pick up truck on Lancaster Ave by the Daylesford SEPTA Station in Tredyffrin. The accient happened around 11 a.m. and there were no injuries to the women in the car or to the two men in the pick up truck. The pick up truck was carrying smal auto parts. The car was carrying hot lunches for Meals on Wheels MOW to local shut-ins. Volunteer Elizabeth Sajed was making a right turn from Lancaster Aveunue onto Old Lancaster Ave at the Daylesford Train Station underpass when her red Toyota Prius was rear-ended by small pick up truck. What made the driver lose control.
A driver was stuck, but not seriously injured after his Mr. Handyman van struck a wall and flipped on its side on Waterloo Road in Devon Thursday. Easttown Police Lt. Scott Albee tells Patch the driver reported swerving to avoid an animal that darted out into the road. The van struck a stone wall and flipped, trapping the driver. Berwyn Fire Company rescuers were able to get the unidentified driver out. Police say he was able to walk away from the wreckage scene.

One driver was taken to Paoli Hospital with what appeared to non life-threatening injuries after two cars collided just before noon Wednesday at Dorset and Exeter Roads in Devon. Easttown police tell Patch the driver of the Audi was driving south on Dorset when a Hyundai pulled into the intersection. Police say the two cars collided, sending the Audi into the pillar of the house at 501 Dorset. The Audi driver was taken to Paoli Hospital. There is no word yet on her condition. The collision toppled a stone pillar at the entrance to the driveway of the home, which is currently listed for sale at $2,100,000 on the Prudential Fox & Roach Realtors web site.
