Blog:Christmas Tree Lighting Countdown in Berwyn

Berwyn Christmas Tree Lighting December 2, Find out the details direct from the North Pole!

We just received reports from the North Pole that Santa, Mrs. Claus and Prancer are packing their things to arrive on Sunday night, December 2 in the Village of Berwyn to greet all the children in the area at the Berwyn Train Station.  Santa sprung for a new Maserati for Mrs. Claus who will arrive in style with Prancer at her heels pulling the sleigh.  Santa, of course, will receive his five star escort from the Berwyn Fire Company fire engine!!

The community is encouraged to welcome Santa and the Holiday Season starting at 5:30pm – children choirs will sing, dancers will entertain, musical groups from Conestoga High School Honors Choir and Take 3 Trio will sing and perform as well.  There will be delightful treats to eat and drink provided for by local caterers and foodies, all proceeds will be donated to local charities!  Start practicing your singing in the shower as we have a sing-a-long featuring Rudolph, Joy to the World and Silent Night.

Coloring books and goodies for the first 100 kids, check out T-E Cares for any donations to bring to help local families.  Find out what creative families won the Christmas Home Decorating Contest in the Village – winners will be announced!  Word around the elf lodge is that competition is fierce!!

Wow - sounds like a LIVE reindeer will be on hand for photo ops! Also heard a rumor that Tommies famous dogs will be available plus hot chocolate. Weather forecast is for high 40's low 50's Prancer might need an ice pack.
