How does Chestnut Hill College compare with these schools?

There is a Junior College in Phoenixville. The Lansdale School of Business is located in the Franklin Commons building. They offer associate degrees and diploma programs in a variety of fields. One of the best things about their program is that they offer lifetime career assistsance. I went to West Chester and when I moved back to PA, WCU was useless in helping me find a job.

I thought you might be interested to know the costs here at Valley Forge Christian College, Phoenixville, PA which are considerably less than the colleges you listed, i.e. Tuition: $16,648; Room/Board: $7,486; Fees: $950 for a total of $25,084. Christian College/Madras?
Sounds like a pretty dull collegiate experience.... *ahem* I apologize...but I couldn't resist. I had a GREAT time in college, and have experience in Christian High Schools prior (and trips to Christian Colleges) to have a bit more knowledge behind my slag... Where is the local Penn State branch? Philadelphia Community College? College is expensive, but in today's economy the investment is well worth it...

Why pay 40,000 dollars for a degree that's not worth the paper it is written on? Rosemont, Cabrini, and Philly U are all just setting you up for a vibrant live as a barista...

I remember reading that Cabrini was actually lowering tuition and fees for 2012-13 and keeping scholarships at the same level. Just looked it up and tuition and fees are going to be $29K instead of $33. I don't know what room and board costs.

Chestnut Hill's website lists 2011-2012 and not the 2012-2013 costs, which is why they were not included.

Montgomery County Community College is +/- $3,000. Of course, the downside is the kids have to continue to live at home......

Sorry, Lucy..I see you did include R&B. I wonder if any other area schools have decreased tuition as well. Interesting to see if that increases enrollment.

For the savings sending a child to a community college you can get them a crappy student apartment and STILL come out $10,000 or more ahead. Two years at a community college, combined with a State school (why are private schools touted so highly? Is the added expense ((Penn aside)) worth the extra money?)

Lucy, many of your readers already know that there is a residential, co-ed, associate degree-granting college in their backyard that has a strong career focus and excellent job placement rate for its allied health students. Harcum College has been educating area residents for nearly a century. The Main Line Chamber of Commerce just chose Harcum as its Nonprofit Business of the Year.
Several people posting here have expressed concern about tuition costs at the colleges and universities listed. At Harcum, tuition for the 2012 academic year is $9,950 per semester. Full-time enrollment with room(double) and board is $28,500 per year. This is substantially less than any other private institution in the area.
