Police Plan Classes That Could Save Your Life

Tredyffrin Township Police will start a free learning series with a class on one of the hottest topics of discussion nationwide.

The Tredyffrin Police Department will offer a six class course on public safety issues between January and June of this year, starting with one of the hottest topics of discussion in communities all over the country: gun safety.

The free classes meet one a month on the fourth Tuesday of each month and each is designed to help keep you, your family and the community safer. The information taught in each two hour class could literally help save a life.

The classes are free and will be held in the main meeting room of the Tredyffrin Township Municipal Building. You can attend any, or all of the classes.

The class schedule as provided by Tedyffrin Police is:

Keene Hall - 7 P.M. to 9 P.M.

Tuesday, January 22nd – Project Child Safe on Gun Safety in the Home (**see description below)

Tuesday, February 26th - Emergency Preparedness

Tuesday, March 26th - Child Predators and Megan's Law

Tuesday, April 23rd - Community Level CPR Certification

Tuesday, May 28th - Fire Safety/ Summer Safety/Swimming Safety

Tuesday, June 25th - Personal Safety for Men and Women

Members of the community are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

**Project Child Safe on Gun Safety in the Home-

What every parent, gun owner or perspective gun owner should know.  Now more than ever we need to be sure our guns are safe and secure in our homes.

Project Child Safe is a Nationally funded program which promotes gun safety.

Our presenter, Mike Alexander, a NRA certified instructor and a State, Regional, National, and International shooting champion, will join with the police department to conduct this class. This is one you should not miss.


Attendees will receive a FREE gun lock as provided through the Federal grant.

I used to go to this program. The instructor was Lieutenant Dintino. Does someone know if he's still running this program. My family has been going for years. What a great program he put together for everyone. I don't understand why he's not the presenter anymore.
