Tredyffrin Police Honor Officer of the Year

Nine year veteran of the force selected by peers.

Tredyffrin's police chief says "he's just a great cop". Officer Jim Slavin is Tredyffrin's Officer of the Year.  Slavin was selected for the honor by an awards committee comprised of officers and supervisors, and also recognized at this week's Tredyffrin Board of Supervisor's meeting.

Chief Andrew Chambers praised Slavin's work, not only in the past year but over his nine year career with the department. Chambers says being selected for the department's highest honor is "a very difficult process to go through. But imagine, the epitome of excellence in anyone's career field is.. being selected by your peers."
