SPCA, Police Investigate Chesco Dog Cruelty

A horrible case of animal cruelty in Chester County is under investigation.

The Chester County SPCA and local police are investigating the case of a service dog found inside a cage and lit on fire on the side of a road n Coatesville.

The dog was found inside a burning cage off PA Route 82, according to SPCA Spokesman Rich Britton who spoke with local TV station reporters at the scene.

Unfortunately this type of stuff is fairly common in that area. Now if it happened in this area that would be a bigger story. I hope they catch whoever did it. It seems unconscionable how anyone could even think about doing something like this.
