Free smoke detectors

Do you need smoke detectors? They save lives.

Thu. Jan 31st 2013

Members of the Paoli Fire Company along with the Radnor Fire Company, and Berwyn Fire Company traveled to the Philadelphia Fire Department Fire Academy today and received free smoke detectors courtesy of the operation 6 save a life program along with Kidde, and Home Depot as sponsor's.  Ambulance Lieutenant Kelly Raum, and Assistant Chief Thomas Robinson III gratefully accepted the smoke detectors  The smoke detectors are a brand new type, as they are equipped with a new a 10 year lithium ion battery, which never require the battery to be changed. The average smoke detector only lasts about 10 years, and are recommended to be replaced after that time.  If you are in need of a smoke detector please contact the Paoli Fire Company at 610-644-1712 from the hours of 6a-6p.  The Paoli Fire Company will be happy bring them to your house and install them if needed.
