Ann Hanft 90, passed away at the Imperial Point Medical Center, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on June 25, 2012. She was born to Leonard and Mary Mafera, November 2, 1921, in New York City.
She married her beloved husband John Hanft at Ft Benning, Georgia on May 2, 1942. The couple were long time residents of the Upper Main Line, living in Berwyn, Devon, Paoli, and Hershey's Mill, until a move to Florida in September 2010.
Ann was a well known figure in the local real estate business. She was the owner/broker of Ann Hanft Realtor Appraiser for many years, then worked independently as a Designated Appraiser before retiring.
She was a long time member of the Main Line Board of Realtors and the Chester County Board of Realtors.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ann was a special lady of contrasts. She was outspoken in nature but also compassionate in style. She had a mischievous smile but also a steel trap mind. Her family and friends will miss her wit, wisdom and warmth.
