Another warm up on the way

Another warm up is on the way for the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan area!  However, while temperatures will reach above normal levels by Saturday, another round of cold air is on the way.  So enjoy the warm up while you can!


High pressure will be in control through tomorrow morning with scattered clouds.  Winds will veer from the northeast to the south by tomorrow morning at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures this afternoon will rise into the lower to mid 40's for highs.  Tomorrow, temperatures will range from the upper 20's to lower 30's for lows and mid to upper 40's for highs.


A cold front will move through the region tomorrow night with widely scattered to isolated showers.  High pressure will take hold by Thursday morning and remain in control through Saturday producing scattered clouds.  Winds will veer from the south to the northwest at 5 to 15 mph.  Temperatures on Thursday range from the mid to upper 30's for lows and mid to upper 50's for highs.  Temperatures on Friday range from the mid 30's for lows and mid 50's for highs.  Temperatures on Saturday will range from the upper 30's to lower 40's for lows and upper 50's to mid 60's for highs.


A cold front will move through the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan area on Saturday night with scattered showers.  The area of low pressure will intensify off the Long Island coast by Sunday morning leading to a rain and snow threat for eastern Connecticut briefly before exiting into New England.  High pressure will build in by Sunday afternoon through Monday with scattered clouds and well below normal temperatures.  Temperatures on Sunday will range from the mid to upper 30's for lows and mid to upper 40's for highs.  Temperatures on Monday will range from the mid 20's for lows and upper 30's to lower 40's for highs.
