The Voter ID Law was upheld: Good news for Pennsylvanians.

With today's decision in Harrirsbug, we all win!! The Voter ID Law was upheld.

Ok, I am going to say the following as politely as I can.
Today's ruling by a Pennsylvania Judge to uphold the state voter ID law is a
victory not only for the state of Pennsylvania but also for every American
citizen who is interested in justice and unfairness for all people.

Despite the cries of liberal democrats and civil rights groups
who continue to claim that the new voter ID law disenfranchises minorities, the
poor, etc. of this country, the opposite is true.  The new Pa. Voter ID law should be a standard
for the entire United States because it protects all people equally.

And let me just say this, who among us is not interested in
justice and fairness? Because this is exactly what this law does for
Pennsylvanians as well as every American citizen living in this country.

I wrote about the Voter ID law long before today's decision in
Harrisburg. As a result of my commentary, I received hundreds of comments, most
of them, crying foul and offering no good reason for not wanting the law

As an independent minded individual, I am often amazed when
someone opposes an issue without offering any legitimate explanation for their

Americans today can celebrate because of the new voter ID law
due to the fact that it protects the sacred principle that is "our
vote." A principle shared by every living American citizen democrat and
republican alike.

Our vote must be protected at all cost because it is the single
most important aspect of our democracy. Today, I am proud to be an American but
more importantly, I am proud to have lived in Pennsylvania for the past 55
years. What a country is the United States of America!!

To James Smith I say, read the comment above yours by John J Pino. and stop whining. I corrected the mispelled or the mistyped. You should know better than play with words. It is as I said, JUSTICE AND FAIRNESS FOR ALL. Please, don't insult my intelligence.

You didn't even address the concerns of most people who posted after your article. I am fine with showing my drivers license. I am not fine with not being able to vote because of a technicality regarding my middle name.

I just write, I leave the comments to the people. Thank you.

You stated people offered no good reason for being against it. I completely disagree with that statement and you ignore any comments that do not agree with your opinion. Its obvious you are just promoting a right wing agenda and do not present both sides of the story. What about elderly people on fixed income who no longer drive, let their license expire and now have to find a means to get a valid ID? There are so many things wrong with the way the law is written and you do not address any of it.
