Recycle Anything With a Plug & Free Fun Today

There's lot of great, free fun stuff to do in the region on Saturday and Sunday.

There's lots of free things to do in TE and around the region this weekend.

Where: Devon Horse Show Grounds

When: Saturday and Sunday Sept 15 and 16 beginning at 8 a.m.

What: The Devon Horse Show adds a fall festival this year with equestrine events, a midway, vendors and food. And this event features free parking and free admission. (There is a charge for the kiddie rides). There's also a raffle for a 2 year lease on a new Ford Hybrid. It's a great way to get out and experience all the excitement of one of the nation's premiere horse shows in a relaxed, free weekend with something for the entire family to enjoy.

Where: Oakmont neighborhood, near Eagle and Darby Roads

When: Saturday, Sept. 15 from noon to 9:30 p.m.

What: The 2012 Haverford Music Fest will feature 30 bands on three stages, spanning the genres of rock, pop, jazz, blues and folk.

The festival will also feature a beer garden, a craft village and local food vendors. The festival is all-ages and free to attend.

Recycling Day at the Springfield Mall

Where: 1250 Baltimore Pike, Springfield

When: Saturday, Sept. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

What: The Springfield Mall is offering free recycling on all electronics with a plug on Saturday.

The following items will be accepted: TV's, computers, laptops, small appliances, microwaves, cameras, cell phones, air-conditioners, calculators, telephones, fax machines and more.

What: The Radnor Fall Festival will feature magic, face-painting, a dog show, live music, food and art from local vendors and an appearance by the Valley Forge Military Academy Marching Band.
