It's a new year and a new political season for Tredyffrin Township Democrats who are coming off one of their most successful campaign seasons in years. With two newly-won seats on the Tredyffrin Board of Supervisor and two on the T/E School Board of Directors the TTDems are now being led by a new chair and a newly re-elected vice chairman.
Long-time party loyalist Kathleen Koehane was elected Chairman of the TTDEMS. She succeeds retiring Chairwoman Dariel Jamieson who is moving from the township. Former TTDEMS Vice Chair Jerry Henige has been elected to the post again, replacing Murph Wysocki who won a seat on the Tredyffrin Board of Supervisors in November.
According to a press release from the TTDEMS "Koehane has served as treasurer, a district
coordinator and member of the executive committee. She is a committeeperson for
part of Malvern and Paoli (W-1) and has worked on the campaigns of both state
and local Democratic candidates.
Henige begins his second term as vice chair, having served with
former TTDEMS chair Jayne Yockey from 2008 – 2010. He is a committeeperson for
part of Devon (E-1) who has served on the executive committee and played a key
role in the party’s local election activities."
