Paoli Store Closing, Offering Huge Deals

Sunday and Monday are your last chances to get great deals on fun, unusual and unique gift items.

They opened with flair in 2011 and were forced to shut down for a month just a few days later.

Now ShoppeFlare in Paoli is closing its "bricks and mortar" doors for good as it transitions to an online store.

Sunday and Monday everything in the store is being sold for 50 percent off.

The store will be open 10 a.m.-5p.m. on Sunday and on Monday from 10 a.m. until everything is gone.

Shoppe Flare's owners have been a ride that included something no business owner expects when they open.

Just a few short days after Kelly Prevost and Wendy Belle opened their new gift store in the spring of 2011 a man in a red Toyota came in through the front door... in his Toyota. Nobody was hurt in the accident but the storefront was destroyed and the brand new gift shop was forced to close for nearly a month.

The incident was captured on cell phone video which you can see by clicking here.

Since Patch first met owners Kelly Prevost and Wendy Belle while reporting this story, they have done good things for the community at large and business community. Shoppe Flare has hosted fundraising evenings for charities and in 2012 Kelly and Wendy hosted a small business event with Patch to bring small business owners together to share marketing ideas. They are great people, who have been great friends to Patch and the community at large. They have some great, fun gift items too...not only if you're looking to stock up on items for next Christmas but if you have tween and teen girls to shop for. I will miss this "bricks and mortar" store but I'm sure they will bring their own fun and helpful brand of (Shoppe)Flare to their new ventures. Good luck, Kelly and Wendy
