While we're still squeezing in the last bit of summer, the bustle of fall is swiftly approaching. Luckily, Wayne Art Center has classes to fill any empty planner.
In The Kitchen seriesAttendees get to watch a chef prepare foods and get insider cooking tips. Then — the best part — the class shares the delicious dishes. Classes are available for individual registry on Sept. 25, Oct. 9 and 23 and Nov. 12.
PotteryFolks can sign up for four Fridays — Oct. 4, 11, 18 and 25 — of sculpting pottery. The sessions come in a package, cost $125 for members and run from 1-4 p.m.
Drawing and Painting for Beginners/IntermediatesA good class for those who work during the day, drawing and painting for beginners beginners and intermediates runs Thursdays from 6:30-9:30 p.m. It costs $355 to members.
Exploring Mixed Media and CollageFolks get a chance to play around on social media and intermix it with art. This class is offered Tuesdays from 12:45-3:45 p.m. and costs $330 for members.
Cake DecoratingFor a one-time class on Nov. 7, folks can register to decorate cakes for just $50. Chef Maureen Hughes will be leading the class from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
