Unusual Creature Spotted Again in Easttown

Quick-thinking residents snap these photos when a "beast of a different color" appeared in their backyard and they shared them with Patch!

Kathy and Fred Piogga were getting ready for lunch, last Thursday when lo and behold a white buck appeared in their back yard in Easttown.

This animal has been the source of some curiosity in recent months to local residents and TE Patch readers who couldn't get enough the last time this pigment-impared deer was caught on camera.

Here's the note Kathy Piogga sent along with the photos, telling the story of what happened.

"The pinto buck has been in our area and (last Thursday), just as we were getting ready to have lunch at 12:30, he wandered into our back yard .   We tried to get good pictures of him and at one point, he turned and posed for Fred !!!

Unfortunately some tree branches were in front of him but, nevertheless, Fred took 3 photos and I took one with my cell phone and they are attached.   On Sunday I had found the elusive 'white buck' just off Sugartown Road between Berkley and Church but he ran into someone's back yard before I could take a picture.  (Last Thursday Night) we ran into our neighbors..  whose son has seen the white buck 'in action' with a few does, if you know what we mean!!

He has quite a nice set of antlers and who knows? Maybe we will see baby whites around next Memorial Day!"

Thanks, Kathy.

If you snap a photo of this buck or anything else out of the ordinary in YOUR neighborhoos, post it on Patch!

We had an Albino Buck on our property (N. Valley and Yellow Springs Rd. area) a few years ago for a couple of seasons. This is no doubt a relative?

This is called a piebald deer. It is a white tail deer with a recessive gene. I saw several a few years ago off of Rt 252. They are supposedly rare but we seem to have quite a few in this area.

This imbecilic recounting of the sex act is immature and degrades God's gift to all of us. Patch apparently can't fathom this comment so I'm writing it again.
