Emergency Resurfacing of Lancaster Avenue Scheduled

Though the project has an emergency classification, work won't begin until July.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has let Tredyffrin Township know that it plans to resurface Route 30.

The road will be resurfaced from Route 252 in Paoli to Sugartown Road in Wayne.

Though the project has an emergency classification, work won't begin until July.

Some of the potholes along Lancaster Avenue, like those in Berwyn in front of Clay's, seem large enough to swallow a small SUV.

Where is the worst pothole on Route 30?

So now it's finally an emergency but they can't do it for another two months, *(&^&(#$^&*so have to endure this CRAP for another 60 days I've asked them for 4 years to repave the right lane from about where Whole Foods is to Cassatt St, now the entire road has become one big pothole. They "fixed" most of the remaining potholes yesterday including under the Septa bridge on Devon State Road, it really makes little difference, the road is so torn up you can't drive in the right lane

And to answer the question, the worst is the series of potholes from the Liberty gas station and the entire intersection at Devon State Rd. past the VW dealer, that entire 1/2 a mile of the right lane is destroyed!

Yes, this is how emergencies are handled in a Republican run state where low taxes are more important than providing essential services to the actual tax payers. (I will cover my ears now while all the "We already pay too much in taxes idjits rant.) And which right land do you mean, Jim? The right lane driving east or the right lane driving west? I drive 30 a fair amount in both directions and as far as I can tell, all four lanes are fairly trashed between Waterloo and Glenn Ave. (Daylesford SEPTA station) with crappy patching between Glenn and 252.

Third world attitude. Our infrastructure is terrible, and 202 spoon job also taking way too long.
