Easttown Library Plans Mini-Golf Fundraiser

The two-part event will have both a family activity, and one for adults.

The following was provided to Patch:

On Saturday, April 5th the Easttown Library will host The Easttown Open, a fun-filled, two-part mini golf event. From 2 to 5:30 p.m. the library will transform into family-friendly indoor mini-golf course.  In the evening  from 7 to 9 p.m. adults 21 and over are invited to enjoy a round of mini golf and relax at the “19th Hole.”

“We are very excited to be hosting an event that has something for everyone,” states library director Alan Silverman. “It’s a great way for all ages to support our library while having a great time.”

The details of the day are as follows:

From 2 and 5:30 p.m.  there will be 18 holes of mini golf as well as family-friendly activities and concessions. Tickets will be available at the door: $10 per person or $40 for the "hole" family.

From 7 to 9 p.m  adults 21 and over can enjoy a round of mini golf as well as food, refreshments and music at  the "19th Hole" party. “This event promises to be a great time,” says Friends president Margaret MacKenzie. “Our library continues to be a wonderful gathering place for our community. What better way to support the work that happens here than by celebrating with friends, old and new.”

The library requests that attendees purchase tickets for the “19th Hole” party in advance and in person at the library or online at www.easttownlibrary.org. The ticket price of $25/person includes a beer & wine bar, hors d' oeuvres, dessert, mini golf and entertainment.
