The Youth Services department of the Easttown Library is launching three exciting new afternoon programs for its young users. These programs run from March 31 to June 13 and are as follows:
Let’s Read Math
Wednesdays, April 9 and 23, May 7 and 21 and June 4, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.
The program is designed for ages 3-6 but younger siblings are welcome. Children can explore basic math concepts through stories and hands-on activities. No registration is required.
Young Explorer’s Club: Simple Machines
Thursdays, April 10 and 24, May 8 and 22, from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.
Participants grades K-3 can explore the world of levers and pulleys through this interactive series of programs. Children who are curious about how simple machines work will enjoy learning through books, experiments and other hands-on activities. No registration is required.
Make it Monday: Recycled Poetry
Monday, April 14, at 1 p.m.
Young wordsmiths ages 10 and up can create poetry using old newspapers and markers or make a magnetic poetry kit using magazines. No registration is required.
