The Easttown Open - April 5th, 2014 - Look Forward To It!

A way too familiar sight this week in T-E.
A way too familiar sight this week in T-E.

Outside, it's gray, dreary, and cold, and we've all spent far too much time stuck (sometimes literally) indoors.  It's safe to say that everyone is longing for warmth, spring colors, and community feeling.

With the weather playing havoc with our lives and schedules we all need something fun to anticipate.

So, mark your calendars now, and look forward to the Easttown Open! To be held on April 5th, the Easttown Library will be transformed into an 18-hole mini-golf course.

The day will include an afternoon family-friendly time from 2:00 to 5:30, with mini-golf, activities and concessions, and an evening “19th Hole” adult (21+) reception. All proceeds from this community-wide event will benefit library programs and services.

Already many local businesses, neighborhoods, organizations, book clubs and families have seized the opportunity to sponsor this event, a first in Chester County.

The goal is to bring the community together to support the Easttown Library, an essential and vital resource, and to have a lot of fun and celebrate our area while doing so! Why not join them? It's a great way to be involved
