DESCRIPTION:Summer is winding down\, but here at the Wayne Art Center we 
 are gearing up for another exciting round of fallchildren&rsquo\;s class
 es! For our youngest artists\, we offer classes both morning and afterno
 on to fit your child&rsquo\;s pre-school or kindergarten schedule. A few
  of the fun classes in store this year are: &nbsp\;Art Together: Househo
 ld Crafts with Nancy Peters and Little Artists\, Big Masterpieces with A
 my Grant. &nbsp\;Art Together gives you and your young artist (ages 3-5)
  the chance to turn ordinary household materials into fun and creative a
 rtworks. In Little Artists\, Big Masterpieces\, your child will join us 
 on a trip to the Philadelphia Museum of Art without ever leaving Wayne!&
 nbsp\; Each class will begin by looking at a reproduction of an artwork 
 from the museum&rsquo\;s collection\, followed by a fun and creative pro
 ject inspired by it. &nbsp\;We will continue to offer an old favorite\, 
 Two for Art\, where our littlest artists can begin their creative journe
 y accompanied by a parent or care-giver. &nbsp\;Kinder Art + Clay\, offe
 red both on Wednesdays and Saturdays with popular instructor Susan Branc
 o\, teaches children basic techniques of hand-building with clay along w
 ith instruction in general art techniques. No matter the class\, your li
 ttle artist&rsquo\;s natural creativeinstincts will be encouraged throug
 h a variety of projects designed to stimulate the imagination.\nFor our 
 young adult and teen artists\, Wayne Art Center offers a wide selection 
 of classes across a range of media. NEW this season\, Young Chef&rsquo\;
 s Club\, offered on both Thursdays with Kim Honig and Fridays with Chiwi
 shi Joy Abney\, gives students 8 years and older the chance to get into 
 The KITCHEN\, and begin a delicious journey into the culinary arts. We a
 re also excited to welcome several NEW instructors to our programs\, inc
 luding Deirdre Murphy ofthe Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA).&nb
 sp\; In Young Masters Drawing for students 8 years and older\, she will 
 use a wide range of drawing materials to teach students how to master dr
 awing in perspective and how to create light and volume to make a realis
 tic image. For artists 16 years and older looking to begin or refine the
 ir college entrance portfolios\, Deirdre will also offer College Portfol
 io Prep\, a rigorous course in drawing &amp\; painting techniques. The c
 lass will include discussions on applying to art schools vs. liberal art
 s colleges\, photographing and preparing a competitive portfolio\, and i
 ncludes four model sessions.&nbsp\;\nWayne Art Center looks forward to w
