Two Pot Busts in Tredyffrin Township
Two people are charged in two separate incidents in Tredyffrin Township.
The following information was provided by Tredyffrn Township Police. Those arrested are considered not guilty until proven otherwise through due legal process.
POSSESSION
2/7/13 at 1805 hours – Beaumont Lane in Devon. During a routine traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle had a strong odor of marijuana on his person. (an 18-year-old) Downingtown man was subsequently arrested for Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana.
POSSESSION
2/10/13 at 0215 hours – Barberry Lane in Devon. (A 20 year-old) of Lansdowne woman was arrested for Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and related paraphernalia.

Thank god these criminals are off of the street, and it will only cost the township thousands to prosecute them.

And what do the citizens of the township get for this? More of our tax money wasted to ruin two young people's lives. And I don't feel any safer.

This is a waste of time, money, and damages the future of two local teenagers. Give them a warning and do something more important, like dealing with the rash of recent property crimes.
Every hour spent on this is an hour the police don't spend investigating a burglary.
