Tons of Paper Shredded at UPS Store's Grand Opening
The Paoli UPS Store held a free shredding event on Feb. 16.
Were you among the folks who took advantage of the free shredding event offered by the new UPS Store in Paoli last month? If so, you were in good company.
Store owner Ed Walsh said in an email that over 4,200 pounds of material was shredded at the event, according to Iron Mountain, which operated the shred truck:
That's just over 2 tons of paper that was diverted from landfills. We thank everyone who took the time to stop by, enjoy the treats from Sweet Jazmines, the raffle for the 3 free quarts of Rita's Water Ice from their Paoli location at 1776 E. Lancaster Ave, and contribute to diverting a substantial amount of material from the waste stream!

This would have been an even better story if you'd told us about the free shredding event before it was too late to get there.
