Security is taking a higher profile at Tredyffrin Easttown Schools in the aftermath of the elementary school massacre in Connecticut. Public schools were in session as scheduled Monday in T/E.
The district issued a special statement over the weekend announcing that counselors and counseling would be made avaialble to interested students.
Easttown Police say they will continue to increase their presence at the three elementary schools in the township, including Devon Elementary where an officer in a marked police cruiser was assigned on Monday at lunch time.
No serious problems had been reported by the time district schools were letting out on Monday afternoon.
