Paoli Boston Market Closes
The signage has been removed and the interior is in the process of being cleaned out.

The Boston Market at the corner of Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) and Leopard Road (Route 252) closed recently. The signage had been removed Wednesday, and a commercial cleaning company was at work inside the building.
A sign on the door directed customers to the locations in Phoenixville and West Chester, saying:
To Our GuestsThank you for your support and patronage. It has been our privilege and pleasure to serve you.
Unfortunately, this Boston Market restaurant is closing. It would be our pleasure to serve you at the Boston Market restaurants nearby
An email to the company's media relations address was not immediately returned. The news was not well received by some Twitter users:

Actually, Boston CHICKEN was in the Gateway Shopping Center before it opened in Paoli, so we always had one nearby even since we moved here in 1987!

That place has always sold chicken. Roy Rogers before Boston Chicken/Market. It might not be good for you, but bring back the fried chicken!

WHAT?! At least once a month we ordered our Sunday chicken dinner from the Paoli location. Where else can you feed a family of 6 for $40, with all the fixings? Very reasonably priced. I am very disappointed that they closed.

JH, ESP is not required based on your comment. And, to be fare and balanced, 1) What scientific method did you use to determine that Boston Market is for and attracts poor people? 2) Did you mean there is no place for poor people in Paoli or just Boston Market and that their customers are all poor?, 3) What other resturants, eating establishments or other businesses should not be allowed in Paoli? 4) Are there zoning laws/rules or regulations that do not permit businesses of any type to serve "Poor people"? 5) Should there be signs at the borders of Paoli to warn, NO POOR PEOPLE ALLOWED?

I heard a bank is moving in. Because, of course, there just aren't enough banks on Rt. 30 in Paoli. Closing Boston Market is a sad. My 95 year old father can buy a large meal for about $9 and have enough for two dinners and a lunch!

What a shame - I live and work nearby, and Boston Market was always a convenient, quick, and tasty lunch option when I was in a hurry and wanted good food at a reasonable price. The staff was top-notch, with a great customer-focused attitude.
