Multiple Marijuana-Related Cases in TT

Blotter: Tredyffrin Police report three cases in just two days.

 

The following information was provided by the Tredyffrin Township Police department. Any suspects named in the police blotter reports are considered innocent until proven otherwise through due legal process.

POSSESSION – MARIJUANA

1/24/13 at 0830 hours – Lancaster Avenue in Paoli. Police arrested Colby Meyer, 20, of Malvern PA for Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana.

POSSESSION – PARAPHERNALIA

1/25/13 at 1415 hours – Route 30 in Paoli. Police arrested Kevin Griffin, 31, of Coatesville for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after he was stopped for a routine traffic violation and was found to have a marijuana pipe in his vehicle.

POSSESSION - MARIJUANA

1/25/13 at 1622 hours – Devon Park Drive in Wayne. While on patrol, an officer observed a vehicle weaving in and out of traffic while approaching an intersection. Upon contact with the driver, the officer detected the odor of marijuana. Found in the vehicle was a bag of suspected marijuana and related paraphernalia. Kevin Bari, 45, of Pottstown was subsequently charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia.

And again. More of our tax money wasted. Just the overtime that the police officers will make on these busts is more than i would like to pay as a taxpayer. Don't get me started on all the money that the judge and the clerks in the court and the lawers who procecute the case. and god forbid any of them have to spend time in jail, or as i like to call it Criminal University, also paid for with our tax money. Come on Government give adults the choice to use or not use rather than waste money and ruin lives in the process. Waste, Waste, Waste.
