Jeep Rolls into River in Valley Forge Park
A planned canoe ride on the Schuykill turns into a fishing expedition with a crane, not a pole.
A Jeep driver accidentally let his vehicle roll into the Schuylkill River in the Lower Providence Township section of Valley Forge National Historical Park Wednesday afternoon.
The submersion took place around 12:30 p.m. when the Jeep rolled down the boat ramp at Betzwood Picnic Area of Valley Forge National Historical Park, according to Debbie Abel of Abel Brothers towing. The jeep had to be lifted out of the water. No one was injured.
Park law enforcement personnel responded to the scene, according to Abel.

Apparently this was Bob Kelly's Jeep. He talked about it on CBS3 this morning during the news.
