Fox, Eagle Adorn the Walls of Tredyffrin Township's Community Room

Nature scenes painted by Lidia Kohutiak will be displayed in the township building's Community Room through April.

 

If you stop by the Tredyffrin Township building this month or next, be sure to check out the art of Lidia Kohutiak in the Community Room.

The Haverford resident is the latest artist to have her paintings displayed at the township as part of an ongoing exhibition arrangement between the township and the Delaware Valley Art League.

A short biography of the artist is available on the township website: 

[Kohutiak] has had her work exhibited at galleries throughout the area including Wayne Art Center, Main Line Art Center, French Lemon, Sheila’s, and the Ukrainian Cultural and Educational Center. Her one-woman shows include the Gryphon Café and Gallery, the Tyme Gallery and the Waterfall Gallery.  [...]

Awards Lidia has received include the 2012 Delaware Valley Art League Purchase Prize, a certificate and prize at the 2012 ADM Gallery, a certificate and prize at the Wayne Art Center, and an honorable mention at a juried show at the Community Art Center. 

The Tredyffrin Township offices are open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
