Easttown's Egg Hunt Is Noon Saturday
Thousands of eggs will be hidden throughout Johnson Park, and the Easter Bunny will be in attendance.
Editor's note: The following information comes from Mary Schultz at Berwyn Montessori.
Easttown Township's Park and Recreation Department is ready for this year's egg hunt on Saturday, March 16.
More than 3,000 prize-filled eggs will be hidden at Johnson Park, located at 122 Bridge Ave., Berwyn.
This event is free and open to the public.
A fun addition to this year's event will be games throughout the park. Children will enjoy a bunny bean bag toss, ring toss games and a variety of egg games. The Easter Bunny will arrive on a Berwyn Fire Company fire truck and will be greeting all children. The children will also have a chance to dance with the Easter Bunny!
The Easter Bunny will be passing out gift bags for all participants. Many local business members from the Berwyn Devon Business and Professional Association have donated prizes.
The children of Berwyn Montessori organize this annual event. During the past four weeks, they have been filling 3,000 eggs and a few hundred gift bags.
Bring your baskets and a camera! If you would like to volunteer, please contact Mary Schultz at firstname.lastname@example.org or 610-644-4317.
In the event of rain, the event will be held Sunday, March 17. For updates on the event, see Berwyn Montessori on Facebook.
Several members of the Berwyn Devon Business and Professional Association have donated gift baskets filled with many great surprises. More than 20 baskets will be part of a special raffle at the end of the egg hunt. This is a free event.
