30 Main Gets Ready To Open in Berwyn
The inclement weather couldn't stop Berwyn’s newest restaurant from getting its new sign Wednesday afternoon.
Crews were putting up the sign for 30 Main in Berwyn Wednesday afternoon.
The new restaurant is going into the site of the former Black Sheep Saloon and Main Line Cafe on Lancaster Avenue. (It’s next to the Berwyn post office and across from the train station.)
The new restaurant is a venture by Matt DiDomenico and his son Michael, according to Philly.com.

I have had the pleasure of discussing the vision that Matt, Mike and Dory DiDomenico have for their exciting new destination restaurant. 30 Main is going to be unique with a modern Rittenhouse Square look and a Main Line Cheers Bar hospitality feel. Something for the guys and the ladies to enjoy. Can't wait to experience this new spot as it unfolds over the next few months. Berwyn can be sophisticated and relaxed. 30 Main is the place to watch!

Thanks, Susan! I am excited abou this new restaurant. Love the style described...and as Bob Byrne notes.... could be Hot and Happnin' in Berwyn...before summer!

Main and Lancaster could truly become the new "hot corner" of the Upper Main Line. With 30 Main opening, Alfredo's next door and the Music Workshop's performance Annex upstairs in the same building there will be a lot of dining and entertainment available on one corner most weekend nights. The performance Annex is hidden gem where some great musicians play. Footlighters Theater is two blocks away on Main and BT is a very short walk down the street.
The Berwyn Devon Business and Professional Association's Marc Heppe (who is also an Easttown Supervisor) is spearheading an effort to get consumers to buy Easttown First and that is going to be the key. Free parking and close by are two more reasons I would suggest everyone give a local night out a try. Great dining, great live music and theater, free parking and right across the street from the Berwyn SEPTA station. Maybe it's time for the folks in Philly to come experience what they're missing!

Bob,
It's great to see that you are still involved with our community. Thanks for the plug. Easttown First has morphed into Berwyn/Devon First but the concept is still the same. We have successfully moved the dry cleaning contract for the Easttown Police back into the township and look forward to reporting future successes in the Patch.
Matt and his team at 30 Main have some terrific ideas for the new venture. I look forward to being there on opening night. Berwyn is quickly becoming the "foodie" destination.

Please, call Phil! I've seen him at other venues and he would definitely be an asset to 30 Main. Love the sign, BTW.
