The weather is looking good. Come to the Pennies-a-Pound airplane ride event at Heritage Field this weekend.

Heritage Field is the new name for the former Pottstown Limerick Airport  at 3310 W. Ridge Pike, midway between Pottsown and Limerick.

Air plane rides will be offered to the public by the "Ninety-Nines", the international Organization fo Women Pilots. For your donation of 15-cents per pound of body weight ($7 miminum, $25 maximum),  volunteer pilots will fly you above the beautiful spring countryside. First ride, or one-hundredth ride, come for a memory.  All money goes to support aviation education and scholarship.

Lots of displays of airplanes and related activiteis. And lots of pilots telling their stories.
