A Day to Honor our Vets

Now that the year long election campaign is finally at an end, there is but one day each year set aside for those men and women who have truly served their country as members of the Armed Services over the years.

This coming Sunday is Veterans Day commemorating our vets at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month as we do each year. Demonstrate your appreciation for those who came to the aid of their country when called or as true volunteers, by attending our celebration of veterans at the Berwyn Train Station.

On this Sunday at 11am at the Veterans Memorial in Berwyn, we will hold a short service to thank our veterans, and at the same time show our appreciation to one individual and two groups who have consistently supported the local efforts of our veterans organization. There will be other ceremonies up and down the Main Line.

By the way----the traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall will be at the Coatesville VA Center starting Wednesday the 7th of November through the 12th of November. It will be open to the public 24/7, and many of us veterans will be standing watch.

Support our troops this Sunday!!!!  They deserve it , and have earned it.  Thank you.
